    classical conditioning

    A form of associative learning, When a neutral stimulus produces a response after being paired with a stimulus that naturally produces a response first studied by Ivan Pavlov

    Unconditioned Stimulus

    unlearned thing, invokes an unconditioned response.

    unconditioned response (UR)

    In classical conditioning, the unlearned, naturally occurring response to the unconditioned stimulus (US), such as salivation when food is in the mouth.
